Available as a free download for only 1 month, the Community version of the GoFAST collaborative DMS (based on Alfresco) has already been downloaded several hundred times (OVA/QCOW2 files).
After the launch of GoFAST Community at Paris Open Source Summit on 05/12/2018, many organizations are planning to optimize their cross-functional document management thanks to the DMS platform.
The Community version is precisely in the testing phase by a prestigious public administration (nom confidentiel) (confidential name) who wishes to discover the DMS tools, before moving to GoFAST Enterprise (full version and real alternative to Office365/SharePoint).
This approach allows in phase 1, to glimpse the potential of cross-functional DMS and its easy-to-use interface, then to test the collaborative features and the simultaneous co-editing of Office files in phase 2. Among the objectives with GoFAST: to replace the file server to secure documents (eg GDPR, zero attachments, zero duplicates, versions, etc.), allow efficient collaborative work and increase productivity.
