Just over a year ago, the Department of Haute-Savoie (74) undertook a major project: the replacement of their SharePoint and file servers. An important development in the management of their numerous files and documents. This is how an experiment of GoFAST Digital Workplace was launched in September 2019.

If the first phase of the project concerns the recovery of documents, the second for its part, focuses on workflows, and in particular the automation of stages, conditions and deadlines, in order to ensure compliance with business processes (management reports, administrative notes, etc.).

The major project in progress is the release of SharePoint to GoFAST (based on Alfresco DMS). The project of business documents migration from SharePoint is carried out jointly with CEO-Vision and in partnership with Territoires Conseil, for their expertise in the business areas of Local Communities.

"Thanks to the GoFAST solution, we spend much less time drafting documents and this greatly simplifies exchanges and collaborative work", testifies Patricia Mugnier, project manager, Innovation centre, Information Systems and Digital Uses at Haute -Savoie. "CEO-Vision trained some of the users, then we took over. Workshops were also organized on predefined topics, such as workflows, to understand business needs," she continues.

"We see significant time and volume savings. We are using less storage space, especially on messaging. In two years, there could be over 2,000 of us using GoFAST," said Patricia Mugnier.
